Collaborative Pollock Project
Pollock became famous for an exciting new way of painting called “drip painting.” Instead of painting a picture of a face or a person, Pollock expressed his feelings by dripping paint in an energetic web of movement. Yellow, orange and black, might show anger or fear, and the swirling might remind you of fireworks!
Collaborative Pollock Project
Children are given many different materials to create one Pollock inspired piece on a stretched canvas. Sticks, straws, and marbles are just some of the fun “tools” used to create this masterpiece. This work of art is then given to the birthday child or party host/hostess.
